How to Reach Us
Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia. It has its own airport, Brnik (also referred to as Ljubljana Airport or Jože Pučnik Airport), which has good connections with other European airports (Zürich, Frankfurt, Rome, Paris, London) and is located about 20 km North-East of the Ljubljana city centre. There are also several other international airports in the vicinity of Ljubljana (Trieste – Ronchi, Zagreb, Klagenfurt), which are connected to Ljubljana by rail or by bus. Ljubljana´s bus and railroad stations are located in the vicinity of the city centre (5 min walking distance).
Other Connections
Ljubljana has good connections by road, bus and rail. The Ljubljana joint bus & railroad station is located in the city, just a five minute walk away from the centre and about 20 minutes from the Faculty. Alternatively, to reach the Faculty by bus, just take City Bus 6 (direction ‘Dolgi most’). More detailed instructions are provided below.
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering is located in the South-Western part of the city, 2 km from the motorway in the direction of Trieste. Other technical faculties and research institutions are found nearby. The walking distance from the centre to the faculty is 15-20 minutes (See the map of the city below).
