Call for nominations for the Mentor of the Year 2025 award

Društvo Mlada akademija will present the “Mentor of the Year” award for the seventeenth consecutive year. The award is intended to recognize the best Slovenian mentors of doctoral students.

In accordance with Article 5 of the Rules, all doctoral students who enrolled in doctoral studies in 2023 or earlier, or who obtained their doctorate after 16 March 2024, have the right to nominate their mentor.

You can submit your nomination by completing the online form. More information about the call and the rules is available on the Mentor of the Year webpage. The English page Mentor of the Year also provides the application form and the rules in English.

The deadline for submitting nominations is Monday, 16 March 2026. The award will be presented at the closing ceremony, which is expected to take place in May this year in cooperation with the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS).
