The 13th Festival of Innovative Technologies at UL FE

On Saturday, 7 March, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana (UL FE) will host the 13th Festival of Innovative Technologies (FIT), which brings together several competitions in the field of innovative information and communication technologies (ICT) under one roof.

The event, organized by UL FE and the Association for Technical Culture of Slovenia (ZOTKS), attracts more than 150 primary and secondary school students each year who are interested in ICT.

Competitions for students, training for mentors

The central part of the event will be the competitions, taking place from 9:30 to 14:00. Primary and secondary school students will compete in areas such as digital photography, video editing, robotics, and presentation design, and will also demonstrate their knowledge in ICT and technology (TZT).

While the students compete, mentors will gain new knowledge through two short practical pedagogical workshops:

• From Object to Image: Optics in Practice
