The subject is taught in programs

Objectives and competences

The main goal is to demonstrate basic digital signal processing techniques and their application to sound, image and video signals. By using appropriate software the student is able to perform typical image and video processing and editing tasks.

Teaching and learning methods

Lectures, demonstrations, practical laboratory work.

Expected study results

Knowledge of digital signal processing methods and their application to sound and visual signals. Understanding and knowledge of the selected software tools for image, sound and video editing.
