Objectives and competences

The main goal is to introduce a student into theoretical and analytical knowledge about demographic analysis and models. The focus will be on the development of the demography in the last decades.

Teaching and learning methods

Lectures and seminary discussions of student’s research papers.

Expected study results

Knowledge and understanding: The main knowledge and understanding will cover general population development, empirical demographic methods and demographic models. Slovenia and Europe will be in the center of study.
