Datum objave: 22.1.2024

On Wednesday, January 24 2024, the 2nd Slovenian conference on chips and semiconductors (SLO-Chip 2024) will be held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana. 19 lecturers from Slovenia and abroad will present the latest scientific research and development achievements, and current challenges in the design, manufacture and testing of electronic circuits and systems.

Prva slovenska konferenca o čipih in prevodnikih

We have prepared an interesting program that includes two invited lectures on integrated photonics and the perspective of micro and nanoelectronics in Slovenia, a presentation of development work in an industrial environment (CMOS image sensors, testing of microelectronic circuits, ways to ensure security in systems on a chip, protection of electronic circuits in space, designing modern processor circuits and software support for the semiconductor industry) and sections where lecturers from academic institutions will share the results of research in the field of designing integrated photonic, analog and digital microelectronic circuits in various target technologies.

The conference participants will be welcomed by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, prof. dr. Igor Papič, Minister for Digital Transformation, prof. dr. Emilija Stojmenova Duh, and dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering UL, prof. dr. Marko Topic.

The conference is intended for researchers and developers of electronic circuits, students of technical faculties and the general interested public. Since there will also be foreign participants at the conference this year, all lectures will be held in English.

You are cordially invited to attend this year’s SLO-Chip 2024 conference. To facilitate organization, please register for the event.
