The scientific research and professional work at the Laboratory for Power Systems (LEES) focuses on research related to the operation, stability, and reliability of power systems (EES), the electricity market, the integration of renewable energy sources, and advanced methods for the control and management of power grids. LEES employees collaborate with numerous domestic and international research institutes and regulatory bodies. A significant part of our work involves transferring knowledge to industrial practice, where we assist in the development of new technologies and solutions for the energy sector.

In addition to research activities, LEES staff actively participate in the educational processes at the faculty, offering students access to advanced laboratory exercises and involving them in our work through seminars, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses. This allows students to gain practical knowledge and skills crucial for future experts in the field of power systems. The laboratory is equipped with modern technical and software tools, enabling us to perform simulations and analyses of various power system states and to develop innovative solutions for the reliable operation of power systems.
