UL FE students crowned National University 3x3 Basketball Champions

Students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana won the title of National University 3×3 Basketball Champions at the Slovenian University Championship.

The tournament took place on 1 June 2026 at the Baza Sports Hall in Ljubljana, where men’s teams from the University of Ljubljana, the University of Maribor and the University of Primorska competed. The University of Ljubljana teams dominated the competition, claiming all three places on the podium. The championship title was won by Team UL3, composed of students from our faculty.

The outstanding performance of our students was further highlighted by Primož Škrlj, who was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). Once again, the championship demonstrated that university sport remains an important part of student life while showcasing the excellent athletic performance, teamwork and competitive spirit of our students.
