The Alumni Club of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana (UL FE) serves as a professional, academic, and social hub for graduates of all study programmes and generations who have successfully completed their studies at UL FE.
The Alumni Club fosters lasting connections and networking among UL FE graduates, faculty members, staff, and partners of the Faculty.

About the Alumni Club
The Alumni Club supports the continued personal and professional development of UL FE graduates, promotes the knowledge and achievements of its members, and upholds the reputation of the electrical engineering profession and the education provided by the Faculty.
Within the Alumni Club, graduates can further develop their expertise and exchange experiences through examples of good practice.
Members of the UL FE Alumni Club can contribute in various ways:
- as mentors to students,
- as organisers of professional workshops, seminars, round tables, and other events,
- as sponsors of the Club,
- and as organisers of sports, cultural, and other social events.

Anyone who has successfully completed their studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, may become a member of the UL FE Alumni Club.

All graduates of any study level at the University of Ljubljana who have registered on the Alumni UL online portal are entitled to benefits prepared by the University in cooperation with its partners.
UL FE Alumni Club Leadership
President of the UL FE Alumni Club
Gregor Schoss, Director of SIQ Ljubljana
Gregor Schoss assumed the position of Director of the Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology (SIQ) in May 2021. Prior to that, he successfully led SIQ’s largest division — Safety and Electromagnetics — from 2009 onward.
Throughout his professional career, he has participated in numerous expert committees in the field of electrical engineering at both national and international levels. He is also an active member of the Council of Slovenian Accreditation.
Internationally, he represents SIQ within the IECEE CB Scheme (Head of the Slovenian Delegation in CMC IECEE/CB), serves as Head of the Slovenian Delegation within ETICS (European Testing Inspection Certification System), and acts as SIQ’s representative in IQNET (The International Certification Network).
Through his work, he significantly contributes to the recognition, professional excellence, and continuous development of the Institute, which — with its broad and comprehensive services — supports a large part of the Slovenian economy, with more than half of its revenue generated through global export markets.
