Laboratory of Power Systems

About the Laboratory

The Laboratory of Power Systems conducts scientific, research, and professional activities focused on the operation, stability, and reliability of power systems (PS), as well as electricity markets, renewable energy integration, and advanced monitoring and control methods for modern power networks.

Our team collaborates with numerous national and international research institutes and regulatory bodies. A key part of our mission is the transfer of knowledge into industrial practice, where we support the development of new technologies and innovative solutions for the energy sector.

In addition to research, LEES staff actively contribute to the educational process at the faculty. Students are provided with access to advanced laboratory exercises and are involved in research activities through seminar projects, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses. This approach enables students to acquire practical knowledge and skills essential for future professionals in the field of power engineering.

The laboratory is equipped with modern technical and software tools, enabling comprehensive simulations and analyses of a wide range of power system operating conditions, as well as the development of innovative solutions for reliable and secure power system operation.
