Student council
Role and Mission
The Student Council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering represents all students at the Faculty level. Its work covers a broad range of responsibilities related to the study process — from participating in the promotion procedures of professors to co-determining tuition fees and other material costs of study.
As an independent student body, the Student Council operates without financial compensation, which enables it to remain autonomous and focused on students’ interests rather than on service activities.
Activities and Importance for Students
The Student Council is responsible for:
- informing and communicating with students,
- raising and addressing key issues and challenges in higher education,
- preparing concrete proposals for improvements,
- actively participating in the development of new legislation.
Through these activities, it plays an important role in shaping a high-quality and fair study environment.
Operations and Organisation
The Student Council operates through regular meetings held in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Student Council of UL FE. During these meetings, decisions are made that directly affect students’ rights, responsibilities, and academic life at the Faculty.
In this way, student representatives actively contribute to the academic community and serve as a bridge between students and the Faculty leadership.
