DEWESoft Bootcamp: Season 2 — Bridging Industry and Academia

After the highly successful pilot edition of the DeweSoft Bootcamp at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana, we are proud to announce the continuation of the program with Season 2 of this hands-on workshop series connecting students with real-world measurement technology and industrial engineering practice.

The introductory session of the new season will take place on April 8th, 2026 at 16:00 in lecture room P02 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The workshop series is organized in collaboration with the Laboratory for Metrology and Quality (LMK), where participants will continue their practical training in subsequent sessions.

Led by Klemen Semelbauer, DeweSoft Student Ambassador for the University of Ljubljana and European Ambassador lead, the Bootcamp provides participants with direct experience using DEWESoft measurement systems and software through practical engineering applications used across multiple industries. Students, assistants and professors from all technical faculties of University of Ljubljana are warmly invited to join.

The first Bootcamp season was successfully completed by 43 students, who earned the DeweSoft EDU certificationand provided very positive feedback, confirming the strong interest for practical measurement training among students.

The DeweSoft Bootcamp is part of the broader DeweSoft Educational Program, which connects universities with industry expertise through student ambassador initiatives across Europe. With Season 2, we continue building a strong bridge between academia and industry and supporting collaboration between students, professors, and research laboratories. We believe that sharing knowledge is key to innovation and engineering excellence.
