Selection exam for enrolment in Master’s programmes

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana has received more applications for its Master’s study programmes for the 2026/27 academic year than there are available places. A selection exam will therefore be held on Friday, 4 September 2026, at 12:00 at the Faculty.

Invitations to the selection exam expected on 27 August

Candidates will receive an invitation to the selection exam at the email address provided in their application via the eVŠ portal, expected on 27 August 2026. We recommend also checking your spam folder.

At the selection exam, candidates will compete for the available places in the Master’s study programmes. When applying, candidates could indicate a first and second choice of specialisation. If, based on the selection exam result, you are not admitted to either of your selected specialisations, you will be offered the opportunity to enrol in specialisations where places are still available.

Application numbers

The call for enrolment in Master’s study programmes for the 2026/27 academic year was open from 31 March to 14 August 2026. We received:

• 201 applications for 130 available places for citizens of Slovenia and other EU Member States,
• 52 applications for 20 available places for citizens of non-EU countries.

There are 24 available places in each specialisation.
