Purpose
The Psychosocial Counselling Service for students and staff is intended for anyone facing various life situations (related to relationships, studies, work, etc.) that raise:
- everyday questions you would like to discuss with someone,
- distress or unpleasant experiences,
- a need to reflect on next steps (regarding a specific issue or life in general, independence, partnerships, etc.),
- unresolved painful experiences from the past,
- difficulties achieving goals, motivational challenges,
- questions related to self-image, identity, or LGBTIQ+ topics,
- a desire to improve communication, relationships (partners, authority figures, parents, etc.), or assertiveness.
The counselling service is also open to students who wish to reflect on professional dilemmas, practical training experiences, or interactions with clients and institutions (supervision, coaching).
It is equally intended for anyone who is simply curious, would like to talk about themselves, or receive feedback on their personal or professional development.

Where and When?
The Psychosocial Counselling Service operates at four locations:
- Faculty of Education (Tuesdays, 10:30–12:30), Room 405
- Faculty of Health Sciences (Thursdays, 12:00–14:00), social area, 4th floor
- Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (Tuesdays, 13:00–15:00), Room 519
- Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television, Room 508
Please note that office hours may vary in specific cases, so we kindly ask you to check in advance. In exceptional situations (e.g., limited access, illness), remote counselling can be arranged.
You may choose the location that is most convenient for you and a counsellor with whom you do not have another formal relationship (academic, family, or personal).
