Final conference of the 3DIVERSE project
Publication date: 5. 2. 2026As part of the European project 3DIVERSE, which addresses digital and geothermal solutions for the transition to smarter and cleaner district heating and the broader green transition, the Laboratory for Energy Policy (LEST) is organizing the final conference of the project on 12 February.
The event will take place on 12 February at Vila Bianca in Velenje, from 9:00 to 16:00, and will bring together practical workshops, a round table with representatives from academia and industry, and opportunities for individual consultations.

The final event marks a milestone in the transition of the project from the implementation phase to the long-term use and dissemination of innovative approaches and digital solutions for the transformation of district heating systems. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the key results of the project as well as open digital solutions such as the DHNpype and DisCoNetHeat tools, which enable fast and data-efficient analysis and planning of district heating networks.
The programme includes a combination of interactive presentations, expert discussions and knowledge exchange between researchers, practitioners and representatives of local authorities. Special emphasis will be placed on sharing experiences, fostering collaboration and presenting concrete practices for accelerating the implementation of cleaner and smarter solutions in other cities and regions.
The project partners include the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana (LEST), the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Kolektor SetUp, KSSENA and the Public Utility Company Velenje.
