Cilji
The objective of the course Automatized and virtual measurement systems is to understand all important parts of measurement systems and appropriate software. In scope of the course, the student is introduced to serial and parallel interfaces (laboratory and industrial measurement processes). The course contains information regarding digital signal processing in metrology as well as development tools for automation of measurements in industrial and research. In parallel, modern virtual programming languages and their implementation are discussed. Student identify key parameters of quality assurance of software measurement equipment
Metode poučevanja in učenja
In scope of the lectures the theoretical background on particular subjects related to automatized and virtual measurement systems together with presentation of simple practical examples is given. A complete study material is available to the students.
Practical work is being performed in the laboratory environment and seminar, and is accomplished in steps acquainting students with the problem and automatized and virtual measurement system. The problem is identified, defined and solved in appropriate steps. Project group is consisted of maximum two students, who accomplish the automatized and virtual measurement systems in different environments and areas. At the end of semester, students report on their results of laboratory exercises and seminar.
