The course provides a comprehensive overview of the field of user interface and user experience design. At the beginning, methods are presented for the analysis and identification of target users, their requirements, checking the peculiarities of user groups, modelling users and creating personas. During the course, students learn about procedures for creating information architecture and rules for designing user interfaces. They learn about different types of prototypes and their production, as well as the design of interactivity and interaction modalities.
In addition to responsive design and visual design, compliance with brand identity rules and the creation of a design system are also important, a special emphasis is also placed on the influence of human perception and psychology. Students learn how to ensure the accessibility of services and their importance in today's world. The principles of planning, measuring and evaluating the user experience with the help of standardized methodologies and procedures are also presented.
Extended reality (XR) technology is also becoming more and more important, so the course also presents the specifics of interface planning and interaction modalities, as well as special tools for evaluating XR interfaces. The practical part of the course includes creating a personal project in the selected software.
