Enrolment procedure

For first-time enrolment at the Faculty, please follow the steps below:

1. Submit an application via the eVŠ portal.
   Applications can be submitted within the deadlines published each year in the official call for enrolment. The call is published on the Ministry’s website (usually in February for first-cycle studies and in May for second- and third-cycle studies).

2. After receiving notification of admission, you will receive an email from the Faculty with enrolment instructions. Please follow these instructions carefully, as late enrolment is not possible. The enrolment process is conducted entirely online.

3. For enrolment instructions and other useful information, select the level of the study programme you are enrolling in.

Call for enrolment

The call for enrolment in Master’s degree programmes for the 2025/26 academic year is open from 25 March to 17 August 2025 and is published on the University of Ljubljana website.

For the 2025/26 academic year, the following number of places is available:

• 130 places for citizens of Slovenia and other EU Member States
• 20 places for citizens of non-EU countries
• 2 places for Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship

Each study track offers 24 available places.

Applications must be submitted via the eVŠ portal within the application period. Applicants may indicate their first and second choice of study track in the application. If, based on the results of the selection examination, you are not admitted to either of your chosen tracks, you may be offered a place in study tracks with remaining available places.

The selection examination will take place on 5 September 2025 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. An invitation to the selection examination will be sent to the email address provided in your eVŠ application, expected on 29 August 2025. Please also check your spam/junk folder.

The application procedure is managed by the Admissions Office of the University of Ljubljana.
