Digital UL Centre - Digitally competent teachers after the kovid era

On Friday, 14 April 2023, the Digital UL Centre Centre at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, an extended Teachers to Teachers panel will be held, focusing on the lessons learned from the kovid era and their impact on the acquisition of digital competences of future educators in university environments. The consultation will bring together educators from the University of Ljubljana as well as the University of Primorska, and we have invited experienced higher education teachers from Finland, Germany, Italy and Greece.

Higher education teachers from different EU countries will present their experiences, good practices, strengths and weaknesses that they have experienced during their time as teachers. At the same time, the results of the European Hi-Teach project will be presented, in which eminent European universities have analysed the use of ICT in the kovid era and developed a Massive Open Online Course (MOST) to acquire new digital pedagogical competences for the upcoming post-covid era. In the last part of the panel, higher education teachers from the University of Ljubljana will present their own ICT course updates and share their experiences with their colleagues.
