Chair for Measurementsand Robotics
The Chair covers two scientific areas: measurement and robotics.
Both areas are characterised by strong involvement in European research projects and close cooperation with industry. It comprises two laboratories: the Metrology and Quality Laboratory and the Robotics Laboratory.
The laboratories are well-equipped, offering students tempting opportunities to carry out practical exercises and projects. The Department is mainly responsible for the Technical Quality programme at first cycle and the Robotics programme at second cycle.
Members of the Department are lecturers in several core courses in the fields of measurement and robotics, including Electrical Engineering and Automation Engineering. They have produced excellent textbooks and study materials (some in English) for all subjects.
