Borrowing, renewing and returning material
Users search for and reserve materials in COBISS+ in the local FERLJ database or with the help of a library information desk. A student card is required for borrowing the materials.
Books
(First-year students can borrow a maximum of 5 books at a time.)

Magazines
- 1 day (new magazines)
- 7 days (other magazines)

Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral theses
- in the reading room
- (online: since 2014 also in the Repository of the University of Ljubljana (RUL))
Renewal and reservation options:
- in person in the library,
- by phone,
- by email,
- via My Library (COBISS AAI).
Good to know ...
- a book that has a "Borrowed" status when it is reserved, will be available for collection for maximum of 3 working days after its return to the library,
- if the status of the book is "free" at the time of booking, the book will be available for collection for one working day.
- In person when the library is open,
- to TREZOR (a "safe" for returned books) or
- by registered post
If the borrowed material is returned late, a penalty for delay will be charged according to the current price list.
