According to the proposal of the Senate of the University of Ljubljana, organised educational work will be carried out during the academic year beginning on 2 October 2023 and ending on 30 September 2024.

A student may sit an exam in a subject a maximum of three times in one academic year.
Note:
The examination periods are arranged in such a way that each course has 4 examination dates and a student may take a course exam a maximum of three times in one academic year.
- For winter semester courses, students may take the exam once in the winter examination period (although two dates are offered), once in the June examination period and once in the autumn examination period.
- For summer semester courses, students may take the examination twice in the June or spring examination period and once in the autumn examination period.
