Electronics is certainly one of the most promising branches of science, technology and business today, both in the world and in this country. Today, there is practically no product or device that does not have at least one electronic component: from the simple microcontrollers found in consumer products to the complex systems for signal acquisition and processing, management, guidance and control found in modern vehicles, aircraft, homes, buildings, etc.
The Chair works in the following areas: electronic components and materials, design and implementation of electronic circuits, systems and devices, construction and use of microprocessor systems, design of digital and analogue integrated circuits in the latest micro and nanotechnologies, sensors and microsensor structures, solar cells and optoelectronic structures.
The Department of Electronics is responsible for the implementation of the Electronics degree, where students can expect a pleasant environment, interesting and high-quality lectures, and state-of-the-art laboratories for practical work and further education.
