UL FE management visit to Kolektor

On Friday, 24 February, the management of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering visited the Kolektor company in Idrija. The visit was attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Gregor Dolinar, Vice-Dean for Teaching, Prof. Dr. Roman Kamnik, associate dean for Research, Prof. Dr. Sašo Blažič, Vice-Dean for Financial Affairs and Quality, Associate Prof. Dr. David Nedeljković and the Secretary of the Faculty, Mag. Prof. Tea Urankar.

During the visit, Mr. Marjan Drmota, Director of the Kolektor Mobility Strategic Group and Chairman of the expanded UL FE Management Board, showed the production facilities. During the discussion, the executives exchanged information on ongoing projects and reviewed cooperation opportunities in areas where the green transition in the automotive industry is at the forefront. They also touched upon cooperation in the area of human resources and the importance of educational institutions responding to the needs of the economy, with a focus on the competences of electrical engineers that will equip our graduates to meet the most up-to-date technological challenges.
