AMSMA Summer School 2022
Date of publication: 16.2.2022In July, an exciting AMSMA Summer School will take place, organised by the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg in Germany.
The Summer School is aimed at Master's students in engineering. Participants will gain competences and skills in the development, simulation and additive manufacturing of medical applications. They will work in a team with other international students on an interdisciplinary "in-ear device" development project. During the lectures, students will learn about development methods, processes and software tools that they will apply directly with their colleagues and professors in a medical technology project. In the laboratories, students will get hands-on experience in 3D printing, 3D scanning, finite element methods, materials testing and flow investigations.
