Innovative Technologies Summer Camp 2023

Date of publication: 5.5.2023

From 21 to 25 August, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering will host the traditional Innovative Technologies Summer Camp, where young people will go on a hunt for new skills in electrical engineering and modern technologies.

The camp is aimed at students from the 4th year of primary school to the 3rd year of secondary school.

This year, participants will be able to choose from ten thematic workshops aimed at different age groups. They will put what they learn into practice as they are encouraged to create real-life applications and products on their own. Within a week, they will have created real products that can be useful at home, at school or when having fun with friends. It is this use value, alongside the knowledge gained, that makes the Innovative Technologies Summer Camp popular among young tech enthusiasts. It gives young people access to skills and technological equipment that they do not have access to at home and at school.

Ten thematic workshops will take place over five parallel days. Young people will learn a lot of interesting things in a relaxed atmosphere and apply this knowledge to build an autonomous mobile system, build an electric bicycle, convert a robotic vacuum cleaner into an intelligent autonomous mobile system, program mini sumo robots... They will learn about the radiation and energy around us, build a weather station, maybe make their own computer game and much more.
