(Science Speaks): Artificial Intelligence, the new PhD?

How will AI change science and higher education? How have and will educational processes adapt to AI? What does AI mean for assessment? This year's first TV talk show in the series (Speak)Science with researchers will focus on the implications of the new AI tools for the research and teaching part of university life.

With us will be:

  • Prof. Dr. Marko Robnik Šikonja, Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, University of Ljubljana
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nina Cvar, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana and Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana
  • doc. dr. Luka Kronegger, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana

The discussion will be moderated by Nataša Briški.

Guests will discuss both the negative and positive aspects of AI, such as its potential to improve teaching and digital literacy, and will also address ethical issues surrounding the use of new tools in research and study.
