World ICT Day 2023

On Wednesday, 17 May, the Department of Information and Communication Technologies will host an event in the foyer of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering to mark World ICT Day. This year's student-centred programme will start at 9am with a lecture by ICT student and national weightlifting champion David Birk, continue with the It's Nice to be an Electrical Engineer quiz, where attractive prizes await the bravest students who make it to the hot seat, and conclude at 2pm with a lecture by ICT students with their own patent, Luke Podbregar and Luke Zmrzlak. Musical entertainment will be provided by the FE Student Band and the UL FE Choir at 13:00.
