UL on the Route along the Wire 2023

University of Ljubljana (UL) invites you to A path along the wire. From the university meeting point on the platform in front of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology and the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics of the University of Ljubljana (Večna pot 113), on Saturday, 6 May 2023, at 7 am, we will set off together on a 32.5-kilometre route and, under the motto "UL on the Route along the Wire 2023", we will cover all or part of it in a relaxed atmosphere.

Meeting point: 07.00 - platform in front of FKKT/FRI, Večna pot 113, 1000 Ljubljana.

Route: along the Trail of Remembrance and Comradeship (PST). We can walk part of the route or the whole route (the whole route is approx. 32.5 km). The route will lead us in a counterclockwise direction towards Vič (KT-1), Livada (KT-8), Rudnik (KT-7), through Golovec to Fužine (KT-6) and Polje (KT-5) and on towards BTC (Jarše, KT-4) - https://www.pohod.si/Trasa. Those of you who want to continue the route together will continue along the PST (Bežigrad - KT-3 and Šiška - KT-2) to FKKT/FRI (the whole route is approx. 32.5 km). We will not be stamping at the checkpoints, those who wish to do so please check the event website(https://www.pohod.si/PotObZici).

Equipment: hiking boots, clothing suitable for the weather forecast. Hiking poles and energy drinks are recommended.

Duration. 4 hours (to BTC, Jarše KT-4), approx. 7 hours (whole route).

In keeping with tradition, the hiking trip will be carried out in all weathers (at this time the weather forecast can be quite volatile - even with the possibility of a few drops of rain; equipment should be suitable for the forecasted weather).
