Election of the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at UL

Please be informed that on Tuesday, 16 May 2023, between 8:00 and 14:00, in the Faculty Lobby (Living Room), elections will be held for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana for the term of office 2023 - 2027.

Elections are direct and secret. There shall be no early voting or proxy voting.

The Dean is elected by direct universal suffrage by three groups of voters, namely:

• higher education teachers, researchers and higher education and research associates who are employed at the Faculty at least half-time on the date of the election,
• students with the status of those study programmes for which the Faculty is the institution or coordinator,
• professional-administrative and technical staff who are employed at the Faculty at least half-time on the date of the election.

Voter groups have different weights in determining the outcome of the election, namely:

• 60 % weighting for the group of higher education teachers, scientific workers and higher education and research associates,
• 20% student group weight,
• a group of professional, administrative and technical staff with a weighting of 20 %.
