CFGBC Scientific Symposium
Date of publication: 24.4.2023On Thursday, 1 June 2023, a scientific symposium will be held at the Faculty of Medicine of UL to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the CFGBC.
The symposium will take place from 10.00 to 16.00 in the large lecture hall of the Faculty of Medicine, Korytkova 2, Ljubljana. Researchers and members of the CFGBC consortium will present their latest work through lectures and posters. As every year, the topics will be very diverse, ranging from bees, to humans and their microbiome, and showcasing different omic approaches to research. Admission is free and the official language of the symposium is English.
Two international researchers will also present their work. Dr Marek Mutwil from the University of Singapore will present computational biology approaches to complex studies of transcriptome regulation in plants. Dr Jose Manuel Franco Zorrilla from CSIC, Spain, will present bioinformatics and experimental approaches to transcription factor function studies.
