Metronik is a leading provider of innovative automation and digitalisation solutions for industry, buildings and infrastructure companies in Slovenia. With our cutting-edge technology and high-quality services, we are also increasingly present internationally and are well on our way to becoming the leading automation and digitalisation company in Europe.
Our solutions enable users to improve process efficiency, increase quality and reduce operating costs in production and buildings. We do this by working with world-leading automation and digitalisation companies and by developing our own solutions, such as the MePIS family of software solutions.
We work on interesting, technologically advanced and challenging projects in manufacturing - internationally and in Slovenia - for clients such as Novartis, Krka, Atlantic Grupa, Danfoss, Incom Leone and many others. Our building automation and digitalization solutions are used by numerous hotels (e.g. Mons, Maestoso, Brdo), hospitals (e.g. UKC), educational institutions (e.g. FKKT, FRI), shopping centres (e.g. IKEA), congress centres and other major business facilities.
We are a young, successful and highly skilled team that values knowledge, initiative, responsibility, good relations and supports the personal development of every colleague.
We currently employ 116 staff, including 7 PhDs, 11 Masters and 70 staff with university or college degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, mechanical engineering and related fields. In addition, we employ 5 external collaborators and 20 students.
Systematic research and development is carried out within the Metronik Development and Metronik Sustainable Development research groups, which are registered with the ARRS and have a total of 57 researchers.
In our research and development projects, we also collaborate with leading educational and development institutions in Slovenia - such as IJS, IRI UL, University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor - and abroad, such as the Alpen-Adria Universitat in Klagenfurt.
