New management of the UL Faculty of Electrical Engineering
Date of publication: 1.9.2023As of 1 September 2023, the new management of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana will take office. The Faculty's leadership, with a term of office of 2023-2027, consists of:
- Prof. Dr. Marko Topič, Dean.
- Associate Prof. Dr Boštjan Batagelj, associate dean for Scientific Research.
- Prof. Dr. Boštjan Blažič, associate dean for Teaching.
- Prof. ddr. Iztok Humar, associate dean for Financial Affairs.
- Assoc. Prof. Dr David Nedeljković, associate dean for Quality and Sustainable Development.
On taking office, the Dean, Prof. Dr. Marko Topič, wrote: "In recent years, we have made significant progress - we have renovated many of the faculty's premises, obtained many European projects and funds, developed new working methods, implemented many ideas, and successfully adapted to the challenging conditions of the coronial era. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the current management for their successful leadership, especially to the Dean, Prof. Dr. Gregor Dolinar.
New challenges and many projects are ahead of us, new ideas and we will not run out of work. To be successful, we will need to work well together - we have world-class professionals and excellent teaching and technical staff, supported by highly qualified professional services. Only together will we be able to meet the challenges posed by rapid technological advances and the changes that have been and will continue to be brought about by the development of artificial intelligence.
I am confident that we will be able to work together in the years to come to further consolidate the status of our Faculty as a leading Slovenian teaching, scientific research and professional institution in the field of electrical engineering and beyond."
