On the basis of the Rules on the Co-financing of School Competitions (Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia, No 74/2021) and the Rules on the Organisation and Functioning of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana (clean copy of 2 February 2023), the Board of the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, at its meeting on 22 June 2023, adopted the following resolution

Rules governing the Technology Knowledge Competition

General part

  1. Article
    (Content of the Rules)

The Rules governing the Technology Knowledge Contest provide:

  • the objectives of the competition,
  • the call for entries, the running of the competition and the preparation of the tasks,
  • the organisation of the competition and the criteria for awarding prizes and awards,
  • the role and tasks of teachers and mentors,
  • announcement of achievements,
  • objections to the evaluation of products,
  • funding for the competition.

Terms used in these Rules which refer to persons and are written in the masculine grammatical form are used as gender-neutral.

 

  1. Article
    (Objectives of the Competition)

The competition aims to:

  • disseminate and enhance knowledge on the use of technologies,
  • compare students' knowledge of technologies,
  • popularise engineering and technology,
  • identify and encourage talented pupils,
  • motivate to further enhance knowledge of technologies,
  • encourage young people from different schools and backgrounds to come together.

    (Levels of Competition and Competition Groups)

The competition is held at two levels:

  • School level competition, which takes the form of school competitions in individual schools and serves as a qualification for the national level competition,
  • National level, which takes the form of a national competition,

Both levels of the competition are open to pupils in years 8 and 9 of primary school.

    (Competition Organiser)

The technology competitions for primary schools are organised by the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (hereinafter: UL FE).

The competitions are managed and directed by the National Competition Commission for the Technology Knowledge Competition (hereinafter: the National Commission). The National Commission is composed of three members working in the field of technology, one of whom is the President of the National Commission.

The Chairperson of the National Commission shall be appointed by the UL FE Governing Board for a maximum period of four years. The other members of the National Commission shall be appointed by the Chairperson of the National Commission for a maximum period of four years, or until the end of their term.

The Technology Knowledge Competition shall have a Competition Secretary (hereinafter referred to as the "Secretary"). The Secretary of the Competition shall be a member of the staff or an external employee of UL FE. The Secretary of the Competition shall be appointed by the UL FE Management Board .

In the event of the resignation of a member of the National Commission, the President of the National Commission shall appoint a new member within 31 days. In the event of the resignation of the Chairperson of the National Commission, the UL FE Management Board shall appoint a new Chairperson of the National Commission at its next meeting. In the event of the resignation of the Competition Secretary, the UL FE Management Board shall appoint a new Competition Secretary at its next meeting.

    (Teacher participation)

Teachers of mathematics, physics, science, technology or other related subjects, as well as UL FE staff and students, are involved in the organisation and implementation of the competition.

Teacher-mentors and other professional assistants receive certificates of professional participation after the competitions at all levels. The certificates record the number and type of mentorships, the number and type of awards, the number and type of prizes awarded to the competitors and descriptions of the professional work.

    (Voluntary participation)

Participation in the competition is voluntary.

Teachers or mentors must inform the competitors or their legal representatives of these rules before the competition.

    (Eligibility to compete)

The Technology Knowledge Competition is open to students in grades 8 and 9 of Slovenian primary schools in accordance with Article 23 of these Rules.

The competition is also open to competitors of Slovene nationality from abroad, students of Italian and Hungarian nationality from Slovenia and children of Slovene citizens who are temporarily working abroad, under the same conditions.

Pupils who are foreign citizens or without a citizenship and attend primary school in the Republic of Slovenia have the right to participate in school and national competitions under the same conditions as citizens of the Republic of Slovenia.

  1. Article (Accessibility of the Competition)

The school competition is run by a single school or by several schools together. If several schools jointly organise the competition, they shall keep separate records for the pupils of each of those schools and shall make separate written arrangements for the costs and organisation of the competition.

The National Competition is conducted by the National Commission.

 

Call for entries

  1. Article
    (Competition Rules)

By 31 July of the current school year, the National Commission publishes the call for entries for the following school year. The call must be made public. The call shall be published on the UL FE website: https: //fe.uni-lj.si/solarji-in-dijaki/tekmovanje-v-znanju-tehnologij/.

The competition notice includes:

  • the time (day and time) of the school and national competitions,
  • co-organisers (host school and organiser) for the national competition,
  • deadlines for entries to the school and national competitions,
  • the competition programme for each level of competition,
  • the date of publication of each competitor's achievements.
  1. Article
    (Entry to the Competition)

Students register for the school competition with the teacher who teaches Mathematics, Physics and other related science or technical subjects in primary school, with the tutor of the technical clubs, or with another teacher who is responsible for organising the competition at the school.

The application form includes:

  • first name, surname, date of birth and the grade the candidate is attending,
  • the name and address of the school the applicant attends,
  • the name, surname and date of birth of the candidate's mentor.

Applications must be made within the time limit and in the manner specified in the call for proposals. Applications may not be submitted after this deadline.

Only candidates who have given their written consent that their results obtained in the competition may be made public in accordance with Articles 37 and 39 may apply. In the case of candidates who are minors, the parents or legal guardians must give their written consent.

 

Running the competition

    (Competition Juries and appointment of members)

The Competition Commissions administer the competitions at each level, as follows:

  • The school competition is run by a school competition committee appointed by the school headmaster. The committee shall be composed of at least two members. The head of the school shall appoint the chairperson of the committee.
  • The National Competition is managed by the National Commission.

 

Preparation of tasks

  1. Article
    (Preparation of tasks)

The National Board prepares the competition tasks and the solutions to the tasks with the scoring system.

The competition tasks are written in Slovenian.

The National Board is also obliged to provide translations of the competition entries into other languages on request, if in the National Board' s opinion there has been sufficient interest in these languages in previous years; the list of foreign languages is published by the National Board in each year's call for entries. The National Board will prepare translations of the competition papers only for those competitors whose school has, by the date published in each year's call for competition, communicated to the National Board, in the manner prescribed in the call for competition, the required information necessary for the preparation of the papers in the chosen translation.

The review of the assignments shall be carried out by members of the National Board authorised by the President of the National Board who have not participated in the preparation of the assignments.

Competition entries must be original work.

    (Confidentiality of tasks)

At all levels of the competition, the juries are responsible for the confidentiality of the tasks and solutions until the start of the tasks and for the anonymity of the results of all competitors until they are published.

The members of the National Board and all those who come into contact with the competition entries under the authority of the President of the National Board (in accordance with Article 13 of these Rules) shall sign the appropriate Confidentiality Statement.

The School Competition Committee must strictly adhere to the prescribed instructions and take appropriate measures to ensure confidentiality after receiving the School Competition entries.

Until the start of the National Competition, the tasks for this competition are under the supervision of the President of the National Commission.

    (Storage of products)

The chairpersons of the school competition committees keep the products until the end of the school year, after which they ensure that they are destroyed. The National Committee shall keep the products of the national competition for at least one year and then ensure that they are destroyed.

 

Organisation of the competition

Competition order

    (Method of Competition)

At all levels of the competition, competitors solve written tasks.

  1. Article
    (Duration of the Competition)

Students have 60 minutes to solve the problems in the school competition and 90 minutes in the national competition, unless otherwise specified in the instructions for each level.

A competitor may delay the start of the tasks by a maximum of 30 minutes. Latecomers will not be granted an extension of time and will finish the competition at the pre-scheduled time. The competitor may not leave the room in which they are solving the problems within 10 minutes from the start of the problem solving or within 10 minutes from the end of the problem solving.

    (Arrangement in space)

Competitors shall be seated in such a way that no one has as his neighbour on either side a competitor who is solving problems in the same competition. If they are neighbours of competitors solving problems in the same competition, the distance between the centres of the chairs on which they are seated shall be at least 1,5 m. All competitors shall face the same direction. The supervising teacher must have unhindered access to and control of each competitor. Each competitor shall have his own table.

The seating plan for the national competition is drawn up by the National Commission.

    (Supervisory Persons)

At all levels of the competition, at least one supervisor shall be present in each room if the number of competitors in the room is less than 25. In the case of a larger number of competitors, one additional supervisor shall be present for each additional 25 competitors. The supervisors shall check that all competitors are present and seated in the prescribed seating order and then distribute the competition poles to the competitors.

In case of blatant copying or violation of the provisions of these rules (use of unauthorised means, disturbance of teammates), the competitor shall be stripped of their competition sheet and removed from the area where the competition is being held.

The reasons for removing a competitor from the area shall be discussed by the relevant Competition Committee, which may make a decision to exclude the competitor. The decision shall be entered in the competition minutes, stating the reason for any exclusion. If a competitor is excluded from the competition, he shall also be excluded from further levels of the competition. The decision of exclusion shall be final.

    (Authorised devices)

Competitors shall use their own pen and accessories as permitted in the Competition Rules. No electronic, communication or other devices (computers, mobile phones, smart watches, smart glasses, multimedia players, games consoles, etc.) not expressly permitted by the Competition Rules may be brought into the room where the tasks are to be solved.

The use of any other aids shall be decided by the National Commission and announced in the call for tenders.

The paper for solving the problems is given to the competitors at the competition. Competitors solve the problems independently. At the end of the competition, competitors shall return all the material they have received, including any blank sheets.

    (Encryption of products)

There is no coding of the competitionsheets in the school competition. Competitors write their first name, last name and class on the sheet.

In the national competition, the encryption of the competition sheets is mandatory.

    (Organisation of the Competition)

The UL FE takes over the organisation of the national competition and undertakes to:

  • prepare adequate facilities for the smooth running of the tasks,
  • provide supervisors at the premises where the tasks will be carried out,
  • prepare the National Commission's work space,
  • prepare the venue for the opening and closing of the competition,
  • in agreement with the President of the National Commission, carry out any other activities necessary for the competition to be held.

 

School competition

  1. Article
    (Participants in the School Competition)

The School Competition is open to pupils in years 8 and 9 of primary schools who have entered the competition in accordance with Article 7.

    (Place and Time of Competition)

The school competition shall be held at the school in the premises designated by the school competition committee. The date and time of the competition shall be fixed by the call for competition.

    (Tasks of the School Competition Committee)

School Competition Committee:

  • prepare a sufficient number of competition sheets based on the number of entries,
  • organises the competition,
  • reviews and evaluates the students' work and determines the order of success,
  • announce the results of the competition, taking into account the possibility of objection (Art. 45) and the deadline for entries to the national competition,
  • award any prizes in accordance with Article 36 of these Regulations,
  • register participants in the National Competition in accordance with Article 11 of these Rules.

    (Duties of the Chairperson of the School Competition Committee)

President of the School Competition Committee:

  • make arrangements with the school principal for the smooth running of the competition and ensure that the competition entries are photocopied and kept confidential,
  • recruit associate evaluators,
  • ensure that the competitors are listed in the minutes and that the results are published,
  • archive competition documentation,
  • in the event of an objection to the assessment, proceed in accordance with Article 45 of these Regulations,
  • award bronze medals.
  1. Article
    (Time for evaluation of products)

The juries will evaluate the products and publish the results no later than 3 days after the competition.

    (Product Inspection)

The National Jury makes the final selection of the participants in the National Competition. In doing so, it may review the entries of the competitors who have been entered by the school competition committee for the national competition.

If the members of the National Board find that the school competition committee has not complied with these rules or the instructions for the conduct of the competition, they may decide not to take into account the candidates proposed by that committee in the selection of the participants in the national competition.

 

National competition

  1. Article
    (Participants in the National Competition)

Students from all 8th and 9th grades of primary schools can qualify for the national competition, depending on their results in the school competition.

The 25 competitors who have achieved the best result in the school competition, taking into account the results of competitors from the whole country, are automatically qualified for the national competition.

After the selection of participants in the national competition has been made in accordance with the previous paragraph, the National Board may decide to invite a few more pupils to the national competition from among those who have achieved the best results in the school competition and who have not been selected on the basis of the provisions of the previous paragraph. In this case, the list of all participants in the school competition shall be taken into account, irrespective of the applicant school, and the total number of participants in the national competition may not exceed 150.

    (Place and Time of Competition)

The National Competition shall be held at the premises of UL FE, unless otherwise specified in the Call for Entries. The premises for the National Competition and the date and time of the annual National Competition shall be specified in the Call for Entries.

    (Tasks of the National Commission)

National Commission:

  • prepare the competition tasks,
  • make the final selection of the participants in the national competition,
  • provide the appropriate number of copies of the competition sheets based on the number of pupils selected for the national competition,
  • ensure the smooth running of the competition,
  • inspect and evaluate the entrants' products,
  • determine the order of success of the competitors and announce it,
  • ensure the archiving of the competition documentation,
  • award gold and silver medals for success in the national competition and any prizes in accordance with Article 36 of these Rules.

    (Duties of the Chairperson of the National Commission)

President of the National Commission:

  • provide a number of competition entries based on the number of entrants to the national competition,
  • provide evaluators to evaluate the products,
  • ensure that competitors are entered and that their results are published,
  • ensure the archiving of competition documentation,
  • together with the Secretary, prepare any prizes for competitors and mentors,
  • arrange for the preparation of the competition report and the publication of the Bulletin.

The President of the National Commission shall be assisted in his/her work by the Competition Secretary.

    (Results)

The unofficial encrypted results shall be published no later than 21:00 on the day of the competition.

Within 3 days of the publication of these results, the competitor may lodge a written objection to these results, stating their code number, the serial number of the task they consider to have been incorrectly evaluated and a brief justification.

The National Commission examines the complaint and reaches a decision. The decision may be made available to the competitor on the UL FE website, in accordance with Articles 41 and 48 of the Regulations. The decision is final.

 

Criteria for the award of prizes and awards

  1. Article
    (Criteria for the award of prizes and awards)

Up to 40% of the competitors in the school, ranked by merit, may win bronze in the school competition, with the last-placed winner having at least 40% of the possible points. If competitors outside the 40% ranked have the same achievement as the last bronze winner (the one with the lowest points), they will also receive a bronze award. In addition, all competitors whose scores are in the top 20% of all competitors in the country may be awarded the Bronze Medal.

The best competitors at the national competition, ranked by achievement, win a gold or silver medal. The number of gold and silver prizes awarded depends on the total number of participants in the school competition, namely:

  • where the total number of competitors in a school competition is 50 or less, the maximum number of gold prizes is 2 and the maximum number of silver prizes is 3;
  • where the total number of competitors in a school competition is greater than 50 and less than 1000, a maximum of 4% of the participants in the school competition shall be awarded gold prizes and a maximum of 6% of the participants in the school competition shall be awarded silver prizes;
  • where the total number of competitors in the school competition is at least 1000 and less than 2000, the maximum number of gold prizes is 40 + 2% (N - 1000) and the maximum number of silver prizes is 6% N, where N is the number of competitors in the school competition;
  • where the total number of competitors in the school competition is at least 2000 and less than 5000, the maximum number of gold prizes is 60 + 1% (N - 2000) and the maximum number of silver prizes is 6% N, where N is the number of competitors in the school competition;
  • where the total number of competitors in a school competition is at least 5000, the maximum number of gold prizes is 90 and the maximum number of silver prizes is 300.
  • If several competitors have the same number of points at the bottom of the leaderboard, a maximum variation of 2% in the number of gold and silver awards is allowed.
  • Notwithstanding the previous provisions, the number of gold prizes awarded must be less than 60% of the number of participants in the national competition, the number of silver prizes awarded must be less than 60% of the number of participants in the national competition and the total number of gold and silver prizes awarded must be less than 80% of the number of participants in the national competition.

The limit for the award of gold and silver prizes shall be determined by the National Commission in accordance with the above provisions. The National Committee must award at least one gold and two silver prizes.

A competitor can win first, second or third prize for success at the national competition. The National Jury decides on the award of the prize. If the competitors share the place to which the prize belongs, they all receive the same prize. In addition to the prizes for the first three places, commendations may be awarded in such a way that the total number of prizewinners and commendations does not exceed 7.

 

Announcement of the results of the competition and presentation of prizes and awards

  1. Article
    (Publication of achievements and place of publication)

The publication of the competition results is carried out in two phases:

  • The results of the competition, including the name and surname of the competitor (in the case of a school competition) or the competitor's code (in the case of a national competition) and the number of points obtained in the tasks, must be published no later than three days after the competition has been held. These results are not public and are accessible to authorised persons of the participating schools with a personal password. At this stage, each competitor has the right to consult his/her results with his/her mentor or authorised person at the school.
  • After the evaluation objections have been dealt with, and no later than 7 days after the end of the competition, the Competitions Committee shall publish the final results, which shall include the name and surname of the competitor, the place achieved by the competitor, the name and surname of the mentor, the competition group, the name of the school and the place, the number of points achieved in each task, the recognition or prizes awarded, if any, and any information on the placement at the next level of the competition. These results are not public and are accessible to authorised persons of the participating schools with a personal password. At this stage, each competitor has the right to consult the final results of all competitors in his/her competition group at the relevant level of the competition with his/her mentor or authorised person at the school.

The names of competitors who have won bronze medals or qualified for the next level of the competition must be published publicly (but not on the school website); the achievements of other competitors may not be published. The names and schools of those competitors who have been awarded a gold medal or prize in a national competition may also be published publicly in the school (but not on the website). Publication of the results of the competition on the school's website is only permitted in accordance with Article 39 of these Regulations.

When the results of the competition are published, the competent competition committee must also publish the names of the members of the competition committee and other professional staff. This information is accessible to authorised persons of the participating schools with a personal password. Each mentor or assistant shall have the right to consult the record of professional participation at the appropriate level of the competition with the authorised person at the school. The mentor teacher or assistant teacher may lodge an objection to the record of professional participation within 7 days of the publication of the official results of the competition. The objection must be submitted in writing to the Competition Secretary.

  1. Article
    (Individual access to competition results)

Each competitor has access to his/her results in the competition and to any decision of the National Jury on an objection to the evaluation via the internet or a mobile application using a personal username and password. Until the evaluation objections have been finalised, only individual access to the scores achieved per task is possible.

The username and password for the school competition will be given to the competitor when they register for the school competition. The username and password for the national competition will be given to the competitor at the competition itself.

    (Publication on websites)

The results of the national competition, including the name and surname of the competitor, the place achieved by the competitor, the name and surname of the mentor, the competition group, the name of the school and the place, the award or prize achieved, must be published on the UL FE website after the announcement. Only the results of those competitors who have received a gold award or a prize at the national competition will be published.

Only the achievements of competitors from a school who have won a distinction or prize at any level of the competition may be made public on that school's website.

    (Publication of Orders)

The problems with solutions for all levels of the competition are normally published on the competition website.

    (Printed Materials for Awards, Prizes and Certificates of Professional Cooperation)

Printed materials for awards, prizes and certificates of professional cooperation are produced by UL FE.

  1. Article
    (Preparation of awards, prizes and certificates of professional participation)

All awards, prizes and certificates of professional participation must be numbered, signed and stamped with the UL FE seal, namely:

  • Bronze awards are signed by the Dean of UL FE,
  • silver awards, gold awards and prizes are signed by the Dean of UL FE,
  • Certificates of professional cooperation are signed by the Dean of UL FE.

The awards and prizes are printed by UL FE.

  1. Article
    (Presentation of awards and prizes)

After the competitions at all levels, the awards are forwarded to the competitors' home schools. The prizes are awarded at a special ceremony. The place and time of the ceremony shall be announced by means of a call for prizes.

    (Records of Achievements and Participation)

Records of competitors' achievements, participation data and competition documentation shall be kept in the UL FE archives for a period of five years from the end of the competition.

Here:

  1. the record of certificates issued to mentors contains the following personal data: the name and surname of the mentor, the name and address of the mentor's educational institution, the number and type of awards received by the competitors;
  2. the competitors' records contain the following personal data: first and last name, date of birth, name and address of the competitor's educational establishment, the competitor's results and the type of award received.

 

Objection to product evaluation

  1. Article
    (Objection to the evaluation of products)

If a competitor considers that they have achieved a better result in the competition than the published results, they may lodge a written objection within 3 days of the publication of the results, which must be substantiated. The objection shall be lodged with the National Commission. Upon receipt of the objection, the National Board shall re-examine the product and decide on the objection. The competitor may inform himself of the decision of the National Board by consulting the competition results individually in accordance with Article 38 of these Rules.

The competitor may appeal in writing to the National Board against the decision of the School Competition Committee on the objection. The decision of the National Competition Committee is final.

 

The role and tasks of teachers and mentors

  1. Article
    (Pay for work)

Participation of UL FE members in the preparation and organisation of the Technology Knowledge Contest is voluntary and free of charge.

The work of teachers and mentors in a competition co-financed by the Ministry of Education and Sport is not normally rewarded in cash. The time spent is accounted for in the context of the competitors' preparation for the competition. Participation is taken into account for promotion in accordance with the Rules on the promotion of employees in education and training to grades and the Rules on the promotion of employees in kindergartens and schools to grades.

Depending on the financial resources available, schools may decide to honour some or all of the work and performance in a competition or part of a competition.

Successful mentors may receive prizes.

The amount of the remuneration and the amount of the bonus are decided by the relevant body of the school where the mentor is employed or by the College of the Dean of the UL FE.

    (Responsibility for competitors)

The organiser and the chaperones are responsible for the competitors during the meeting and the competition.

The responsibility for the competitors during the journey to the meeting and competition venue rests with the sending school, the mentors and the authorised chaperones or parents.

    (Coordination of evaluation criteria)

The chairperson of each level of panel must organise a meeting of the evaluators before the start of the evaluation of the products. At the meeting, they shall review the solutions to the tasks and the scoring sheet and clarify any ambiguities.

    (Continuing training)

UL FE may provide professional development for teachers and mentors involved in the competition. The in-service training shall be organised in agreement with the organiser.

 

Financing the competition

  1. Article
    (Competition Entry Fee)

If the competition is not co-financed as a selection competition in accordance with the Regulations on the Co-financing of School Competitions (Official Gazette 74, 14.5.2021, p. 4404), the National Commission may, by invitation to tender, set the entry fee for the competition at school level. The entry fee shall be paid by the school attended by the competitor on the basis of an invoice issued by the UL FE. The amount of the entry fee shall be determined by the UL FE Governing Board. There is no entry fee for a competition at national level.

    (Financing of the School Competition)

The funding for the school competition is provided by the school organising the competition. The sources of funding are:

  • funding from the relevant ministry,
  • funds generated by own activities,
  • contributions from sponsors and donors,
  • gifts and bequests
  • other sources.

The sources of funding for the National Competition are:

  • funding from the relevant ministry,
  • funds raised from competitors' entry fees,
  • contributions from sponsors and donors,
  • gifts and bequests
  • other sources.
  1. Article
    (Use of funds)

Competition costs include funds earmarked for:

  • preparing the tasks for the competition,
  • translations into the languages of the nationalities,
  • reproduction of assignments and paper,
  • the work of the competition committees,
  • material costs of the members of the commissions (literature, etc.),
  • the cost of using experimental aids or computer equipment,
  • preparing and sending calls for tenders and invitations,
  • compiling lists of competitors and keeping records,
  • processing and publishing the results of the competition,
  • diplomas (awards) and certificates, badges, medals,
  • prizes for the best competitors,
  • the best students attend summer schools or other training courses,
  • producing a newsletter,
  • designing and processing the questionnaires,
  • work on organisation and supervision,
  • snacks/lunch for competitors and jury members,
  • an accompanying programme during the competition (museum tour, sightseeing, excursion for mentors, etc.).

These items are the basis for the preparation of the financial plan for the competition at all levels of competition. The financial plan shall be adopted by the UL FE Governing Board .

Within 45 days of the competition, the Commission shall prepare a financial report and an analysis of the competition and forward it to the College of the Dean of UL FE and the UL FE Management Board for information.

 

 

Penal provisions

  1. Article
    (Infringement of the rules by a member of the board)

The members of each Commission shall be bound by the provisions of these Rules and by the instructions of the Chairperson of the relevant Commission. If a member of a Commission fails to comply with the provisions of these Rules and with the instructions of the Chairperson of the relevant Commission, the Chairperson of the relevant Commission shall remove that member from membership of the Commission. If the chairperson of a school competition committee fails to comply with the provisions of these Regulations, the call for competition or the instructions for the conduct of the competition, they shall be dismissed by the Principal on the initiative of the chairperson of the National Commission. The dismissal shall be entered in the minutes of the competition.

  1. Article
    (Breach of the rules by a competitor)

If a competitor fails to comply with the provisions of these rules and the instructions of the Competitions Committee, the Competitions Committee may exclude the competitor from the competition. The elimination of a competitor from the competition shall be entered in the competition minutes, together with the reason for the elimination.

Transitional and final provisions

  1. Article
    (Adoption of the rules)

The Rules of the Technology Knowledge Competition shall be adopted by the UL FE Governing Board. Amendments and additions shall be proposed by the National Commission and sent to the UL FE Governing Board for approval.

    (Validity of the rules)

These Regulations shall enter into force on the date of their approval by the UL FE Governing Board. The same procedure shall apply to the entry into force of amendments and supplements to these Regulations. After approval by the UL FE Governing Board, the Rules shall be published on the website of the Faculty.
