What does it take to build an electric bike? How to select the components (electric motor, battery, electronic circuits)?
In the workshop Electric vehicles we will learn about the key features of electric vehicles. We will explore in more detail how to select the individual components of an electric bicycle. We will verify our theoretical background with experimental measurements and select the most suitable components (motor power, battery capacity, voltage converter, etc.) according to our calculations. We will then check the performance of the individual components, fit them to the bike and verify the performance of the assembled electric bike. To make the electric bike environmentally friendly, we will also build a solar charging station for it.

Age limit: 9th grade of primary school, 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of secondary school

Required background: knowledge of physics and mathematics beyond primary school is sufficient
