Prvi prijavni rok za državljane Slovenije in držav članic EU ter Slovence brez slovenskega državljanstva bo potekal od 20. 2. do 20. 3. 2024 prek EVŠ portala.
Prvi prijavni rok za državljane držav nečlanic EU bo potekal od 20. 2. do 19. 4. 2024 prek EVŠ portala.

Enrolment in 1st year
Enrolment in the first year of first cycle programmes will take place:
- za sprejete kandidate 1. prijavnega roka: med 23. julijem in 16. avgustom 2024,
- za sprejete kandidate 2. prijavnega roka: med 24. in 30. septembrom 2024.
Vpis v celoti poteka elektronsko preko našega študijskega informacijskega sistema STUDIS. Navodila za vpis boste prejeli na svoj e-naslov 22. 7. 2024.

Enrolment is done entirely electronically through our study information system STUDIS.
Repeating a year
The enrolment of repeaters for the academic year 2023/24 will take place between 1 and 15 September 2023.

Enrolment is done entirely electronically through our study information system STUDIS.
In accordance with the legislation and the Statutes of the University of Ljubljana, a student may repeat a programme of study only once during the period of study, and any change of the programme of study due to failure to fulfil the requirements of the previous programme of study (transfer to another programme of study or course of study) is also considered to be a repetition.
To re-enrol in the first year of a 1st cycle study programme, you must havecompleted:
- first-year requirements of at least 30 ECTS.
To re-enrol in the second year of a first cycle programme, you must have completed:
- all first-year requirements of 60 ECTS; and
- the obligations of the second year of study of at least 30 ECTS.
There is no re-enrolment in the 3rd year of first cycle programmes:
- If you have not repeated or transferred to another study programme during your studies, you can enrol in an extra year. You do not need to fulfil any specific conditions to enrol in an additional year.
Advancement into a higher year or exceptional extension of status for justified reasons
Exceptionally, a student may apply for enrolment in a higher year or for an exceptional extension of status if he/she has completed the compulsory subjects in accordance with the study programme, has the minimum number of credits of the current year and has demonstrated justified reasons.
The conditions for invoking this mechanism are:
- a minimum of 40 ECTS of the current year of study,
- official proof of good cause,
- the application is submitted on time The deadline for submission of complete applications is 1 September. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Enrolment Instructions 2023_justifiable grounds
The legitimate reasons are only those listed below:
- Parenthood,
- prolonged illness of the student,
- exceptional family and social circumstances
- recognised as a person with a disability,
- Active participation in top professional, cultural and sporting events,
- active participation in university bodies; and
- for international students, participation in the "Year Plus" programme.
The student must demonstrate a link that the reason referred to in the previous paragraph has directly affected the fulfilment of the study requirements, which shall be considered by the Student Applications Committee. Students are informed of the Committee's decision via Studis.
Taking a year off
If you do not meet the requirements to enrol in a higher year or repeat a year, but still wish to continue your studies, you MUST enrol as a provisional student. This will give you access to Studis and allow you to register for exams.
The enrolment of students for the academic year 2023/24 will take place between 25 September and 06 October 2023.
